FAQ: RECONNECTIVE HEALING
1. Can you heal ______________ ?
I do not actually do any healing but I’m a grateful part of the equation—a catalyst, if you will for what occurs. I can neither claim credit, nor take responsibility and the less I know about what you are challenged with (before a RH session), the clearer an instrument I can be.
That being said, Reconnective Healing can help with any type of need, whether it’s physical, spiritual, mental or emotional (or some combination thereof), yet there are no guarantees. Three people with the same cancer diagnosis (for example) might experience three very different outcomes. If one relieves the cancer and another relieves deep emotional wounds, is the session a failure? If the only result is being at peace with the condition of the body, isn’t that a positive outcome?
As much as possible, come to your sessions without a specific outcome in mind. It’s certainly understandable that you might wish for a particular healing, and if I could wave a magic wand and make it so, I would. But this is an experience that takes place between you and Source, and how it will reveal itself cannot be predicted or controlled.
2. How much Reconnective Healing will I need?
There is a short-term commitment to see the process through to completion. Plan for one to three sessions and then, if and when you’re ready, move on to the two-day Personal Reconnection, which has a different focus (so five sessions at most). If after just one session you’re ready for your Reconnection, then of course, that’s what we’ll do. But plan for three sessions initially and we’ll course-correct if that makes sense.
3. Can I come back for periodic tune-ups?
It really isn’t necessary. Three sessions are enough. Think of this as the gift that keeps on giving! An exception might be if something rather significant were to occur down the road that impacts your well-being, and you feel you’d benefit from another session.
4. How do you do Reconnective Healing from a distance?
With eyes closed, I begin to focus on the client and within seconds my hands rise up and my palms begin to strongly pulse. Often times, my hands flutter around in interesting ways. The energy stays with me for about 40 minutes, working directly for the client.
45 minutes after we started, I usually call or Skype the client to hear about their experience. Distance is no barrier.
5. How does this differ from an in-person session?
When someone is on my table, I usually begin at their head and feel for something there. Usually, my hands begin to move on their own, pulsing and sometimes fluttering about. I do not touch a client, though sometimes clients feel as if they are being touched. If the energy wanes around a particular body area, I move on and find something else that engages the energy in my hands and holds my attention.
I spend time after the end of the session listening to what the client experienced, taking notes, and answering questions.
6. I’m still not clear on the difference between Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection. Can you explain that further?
Reconnective Healing is the first step. The energy moves through me as I work with it above and around your body. Dr. Pearl says that there is some small part of reconnecting that begins with the healing sessions, but the focus truly is on healing on all levels. Plan for at least one session (and possibly three) before arranging your Reconnection (though that’s not set in stone).
Once your sessions are done, we can move on to the next step, which is the Reconnection. During this two-day process, I draw lines and calibrate points above and around your body. I use Reconnective Healing frequencies while doing so, but I follow a particular pattern that is the same for everyone, tailored to the size of each person’s body.
You come two days in a row for a Reconnection. Day One begins the process and Day Two seals it. I consider this to be the evolutionary aspect of this work that continues to unfold over your lifetime. The emphasis is on reconnecting…to ourselves, to the Earth, and to God/Source/Universe. And it encourages the light and the information to flow directly to you for optimal communication, like a circular feedback system.
7. What sort of things will I experience on the table?
You might simply feel a deep sense of relaxation and peace. It’s possible that you’ll “go under” almost immediately. Some people appear to be sleeping with all the traits of taking a nap (snoring and snuffling sounds, rapid eye movement, etc.) and yet, they tell me that they were still aware of what was going on in the room. Falling asleep (it happens!) doesn’t stop the process, but your experience of it will naturally be different than if you’re alert.
Indicators of the frequencies at work (the registers) can be dramatic at times and at others, almost nonexistent. Twitching, breathing fluctuations, rapid eye movement, varied bodily jerking, swallowing, stomach gurgling, visual experiences, changes in taste, temperature change, hearing things, smelling things, feeling unusual sensations and much more have been reported by my clients.
But here’s the thing: active, visible registers do not necessarily equate to more profound results. Please be open to it being undramatic.
8. If I don’t experience a anything while I’m on the table, will I see results later?
Usually within a short period of time following the session, you will begin to notice certain shifts. Pay attention to how you feel, whether you’re responding to things differently, whether in any area of your life things are easier and less stressful. Shifts might be blatantly obvious, and they can be subtle yet still profound. They may come in surprising ways.
9. What if I don’t feel anything after the first session? Am I unable? And if I do experience a result, will it last?
The three sessions tend to build on each other. Don’t give up…see the process through. It’s often during the third session that the frequencies really takes hold.
The results do tend to last. As mentioned, what you experience will change and evolve over time. Deeper and deeper changes are possible as time continues, without a need to return for further sessions.
10. Is this for real? I’m a bit afraid.
There’s really nothing to fear and yet I understand that change which is unpredictable (and it often is) can be a challenge. This work is real, it’s wonderful, and it can transform lives. God is the deliverer of all healing. Put your trust in God and listen to your own heart. You are well equipped to determine if this is the right choice for you.
11. Can I be a practitioner of Reconnective Healing once I’ve had a healing session and a Reconnection?
No. Successfully completing the Level I/II seminar allows you to facilitate Reconnective Healing sessions and call yourself a RH Practitioner. Successful completion of Level III allows you to facilitate Reconnections (the two day process we all charge $333 for) and to call yourself a practitioner of The Reconnection. Completion of Levels I/II and III means you will be a Practitioner of Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection.
While you may begin to feel the frequencies once you’ve read Dr. Pearl’s book or been in contact with them in some other way (such as receiving a session), it’s not the same as learning how to work with the frequencies during a seminar, where you have ample opportunity to practice and be observed, and to be comfortable with what is happening.
12. Am I considered to be a “Certified” Practitioner of Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection, once I’ve completed Levels I/II and III?
No. Becoming certified requires additional steps including completing a certain number of Reconnections, taking a class, and successfully completing a written and oral exam. Go to www.TheReconnection.com for further details.
