If you’re familiar with How to Read the Akashic Records by Linda Howe, then you know there’s a part in the Pathway Prayer Process that speaks to knowing oneself “in the Light of the Akashic Records.” When I’m emotionally charged about something and I go into my Records to find out why, and what I can do about the situation, it can be tough to “get” clear details about what’s bothering me.
What I’ve discovered, however, is that it’s not a waste of time. If I stay in the energy there, with eyes closed, and simply allow myself to bathe in the Light that is always present when I open my Records, I begin to feel better. Do I always have a big “a-ha?” No. But what I do have is a few moments of knowing that all is actually well, and once I close the Records, I no longer feel charged by the emotion that had me opening them in the first place.
So here’s what I recommend, whether you’re a newbie or an advanced practitioner of the Records: open yours daily. Give five or ten minutes to simply sitting and being in the Light of the Akashic Records, and let that be its own reward.
