Reconnective Healing

Reconnective Healing® is believed to activate an all-inclusive spectrum of frequencies that transcends “energy healing” and technique to access a level of harmony beyond anything that’s been available until now. (NOTE: Some of the terminology may be new to you. Please see the Resources page for definitions to help clarify things.) Patients experience documented healing from cancers, AIDS-related diseases, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, birth disfigurements, cerebral palsy, and other serious afflictions. This new paradigm has caught the attention of physicians and medical researchers at hospitals and universities worldwide.

Reconnective Healing connects us to the fullness of the Universe as it reconnects us to the fullness of our being and who we are, not just through a new set of healing frequencies, but possibly through an entirely new bandwidth. The existence of these frequencies has clearly demonstrated itself in practice as well as in science laboratories. Reconnective Healing is often a life-changing experience, allowing for the healing of the body, mind, and spirit. These concretely felt energies are initiated by a Reconnective Healing Practitioner at the start of your session, and continue working with you long after your visit has ended.

This video of Dr. Eric Pearl demonstrating Reconnective Healing shows how simple, yet effective it often is.

Healing Defined

Healing happens when there is communication. It is sometimes equated with a medical cure, but the concept of healing is actually broader than that. “Healing, which may or may not encompass physical cure, is the process of positive, empowering, and progressive reconciliation and transformation in a person’s relationship to his reality, condition, history, and circumstance, inclusive of any diseases. Healing refers to positive change in the impact of disease on a person’s life, feelings, consciousness, decisions, and actions. In healing, a person’s experience of disease, and the effects of disease on the body and mind, change for the better, whether or not physical cure is affected.” (Dr. Beverly Potter and Dan Joy)

Healing can manifest in many different forms, and not just the physical. Your mind may become more peaceful; you might begin to relate differently to family members or friends, experiencing more love, forgiveness and acceptance; you might enjoy a deeper spiritual connection; and yes, on the physical side, perhaps the disease that’s challenged you transforms into vibrant health; or your experience of the pain may ease, enabling you to feel more joy; or you may simply be ready to leave your body, knowing that God is with you and that your loved ones will be OK.

Not everyone who comes with a particular diagnosis or challenge will experience the healing they desire. Results are uniquely individual and as Dr. Pearl likes to say, we practitioners can neither take credit for a healing nor claim responsibility for one. We are fortunate to be a part of the equation, but we don’t actually do the healing. We’re more the conduit for it and you and God can be trusted to work out the details.

Every health challenge is a combination of the physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional. We simply classify it according to its predominate characteristic. But Reconnective Healing doesn’t specifically “treat” anything and a Reconnective Healer does not diagnose. At the end of his book Dr. Pearl says, “Some things are difficult to explain; miracles speak for themselves.”

That being said, those of you with a more scientific bent are encouraged to learn more about quantum physics and healing and to discover all the research that’s taking place.

Animals & Pets

Reconnective Healing can be extremely helpful for your pets. Unencumbered by the ego desires that we’re challenged with (they never worry about the outcome), animals are perfect vehicles to receive healing. This non-invasive and completely gentle healing works on many different levels for your pet or animal pal, no matter what kind of animal you’re interested in helping.

Healing can take place one-on-one with the animal, hands on or off (or using only the eyes), or via a distance session. Sometimes a distance session is easiest on the animal, especially if they are not well enough to travel, or it’s otherwise not possible to come in person.

In this photo, a group of us went to a horse rehabilitation farm in Sedona and worked with several rescue horses. It was a magical and effective time and my first introduction to the Reconnective Animals program. I’ll never forget it.

For Those in Hospice

When someone is preparing to transition into death, you might wonder what purpose healing can have during the dying process. Having worked with people who were dying from AIDS-related complications, miracles of healing are absolutely possible at life’s end.

A transition into the afterlife should be as peaceful and welcome as possible. This can be a frightening time for the dying as well as the living who will be left behind, but it doesn’t have to be. Reconnective Healing can help ease someone into this final transition, even if the person is not fully conscious. We may not know just what healing is taking place, but trust that it takes place just the same.

Many people come to the end of their life with unresolved issues of separation and pain. What’s possible between the Universe and the person dying can’t be known in advance, but Reconnective Healing can assist someone to move into the afterlife with acceptance and even joy.

RH FAQ

Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection are the first holistic modalities I trained in back in 2005. My interest began as a result of receiving a distance Reconnective Healing from a friend in Germany that had rather astounding results. Leading to renewed health after 20 years of suffering from a page-long list of symptoms and auto-immune disorders, I was thrilled to experience life from a totally different perspective—a life without pain. While the process of my healing was somewhat intense (though happily so), the rather remarkable results led to my desire to learn more about the Reconnection and especially distance healing. Like many others, I began with the Level I/II and III courses. That eventually led to me traveling with the organization’s team to assist at training seminars. Though no longer teaching Reconnective Healing, I continue to find great value in this work.

You can watch video clips that will help you understand a bit more about this work that made such a difference in my own health.

How It Started

Dr. Eric Pearl, the founder of the Reconnection, was a successful chiropractor in L.A. whose clients began to have new, unusual and completely unexpected experiences on his table, resulting in profound healings. Dr. Pearl’s book tells the often funny story in detail, and shows how to begin to “play” with the frequencies. I encourage you to peruse his website to learn more about what research scientists are discovering about this unique modality. You can also watch this video of Eric on the Dr. Oz Show.

You can also purchase the two books Dr. Pearl has authored (which I highly recommend), and explore this work in a more in-depth manner. But perhaps you’re ready to jump right in. If you’re interested in a session or want to schedule (or learn more about) the two-day Reconnection, I’m a phone call or email away.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you heal ______________ ?

I do not actually do any healing but I’m a grateful part of the equation—a catalyst, if you will for what occurs. I can neither claim credit, nor take responsibility and the less I know about what you are challenged with (before a RH session), the clearer an instrument I can be.

That being said, Reconnective Healing can help with any type of need, whether it’s physical, spiritual, mental or emotional (or some combination thereof), yet there are no guarantees. Three people with the same cancer diagnosis (for example) might experience three very different outcomes. If one relieves the cancer and another relieves deep emotional wounds, is the session a failure? If the only result is being at peace with the condition of the body, isn’t that a positive outcome?

As much as possible, come to your sessions without a specific outcome in mind. It’s certainly understandable that you might wish for a particular healing, and if I could wave a magic wand and make it so, I would. But this is an experience that takes place between you and Source, and how it will reveal itself cannot be predicted or controlled.

2. How much Reconnective Healing will I need?

There is a short-term commitment to see the process through to completion. Plan for one to three sessions and then, if and when you’re ready, move on to the two-day Personal Reconnection, which has a different focus (so five sessions at most). If after just one session you’re ready for your Reconnection, then of course, that’s what we’ll do. But plan for three sessions initially and we’ll course-correct if that makes sense.

3. Can I come back for periodic tune-ups?

It really isn’t necessary. Three  sessions are enough. Think of this as the gift that keeps on giving! An exception might be if something rather significant were to occur down the road that impacts your well-being, and you feel you’d benefit from another session.

4. How do you do Reconnective Healing from a distance?

With eyes closed, I begin to focus on the client and within seconds my hands rise up and my palms begin to strongly pulse. Often times, my hands flutter around in interesting ways. The energy stays with me for about 30 minutes, working directly for the client.

35 minutes after we started, I usually call or Skype the client to hear about their experience. Distance is no barrier.

5. How does this differ from an in-person session?

When someone is on my table, I usually begin at their head and feel for something there. Usually, my hands begin to move on their own, pulsing and sometimes fluttering about. I do not touch a client, though sometimes clients feel as if they are being touched. If the energy wanes around a particular body area, I move on and find something else that engages the energy in my hands and holds my attention.

I spend time after the end of the session listening to what the client experienced, taking notes, and answering questions.

6. I’m still not clear on the difference between Reconnective Healing and The Reconnection. Can you explain that further?

Reconnective Healing is the first step. The energy moves through me as I work with it above and around your body. Dr. Pearl says that there is some small part of reconnecting that begins with the healing sessions, but the focus truly is on healing on all levels. Plan for at least one session (and possibly three) before arranging your Reconnection (though that’s not set in stone).

Once your sessions are done, we can move on to the next step, which is the Reconnection. During this two-day process, I draw lines and calibrate points above and around your body. I use Reconnective Healing frequencies while doing so, but I follow a particular pattern that is the same for everyone, tailored to the size of each person’s body.

You come two days in a row for a Reconnection. Day One begins the process and Day Two seals it. I consider this to be the evolutionary aspect of this work that continues to unfold over your lifetime. The emphasis is on reconnecting…to ourselves, to the Earth, and to God/Source/Universe. And it encourages the light and the information to flow directly to you for optimal communication, like a circular feedback system.

7. What sort of things will I experience on the table?

You might simply feel a deep sense of relaxation and peace. It’s possible that you’ll “go under” almost immediately. Some people appear to be sleeping with all the traits of taking a nap (snoring and snuffling sounds, rapid eye movement, etc.) and yet, they tell me that they were still aware of what was going on in the room. Falling asleep (it happens!) doesn’t stop the process, but your experience of it will naturally be different than if you’re alert.

Indicators of the frequencies at work (the registers) can be dramatic at times and at others, almost nonexistent. Twitching, breathing fluctuations, rapid eye movement, varied bodily jerking, swallowing, stomach gurgling, visual experiences, changes in taste, temperature change, hearing things, smelling things, feeling unusual sensations and much more have been reported by my clients.

But here’s the thing: active, visible registers do not necessarily equate to more profound results. Please be open to it being undramatic.

8. If I don’t experience a anything while I’m on the table, will I see results later?

Usually within a short period of time following the session, you will begin to notice certain shifts. Pay attention to how you feel, whether you’re responding to things differently, whether in any area of your life things are easier and less stressful. Shifts might be blatantly obvious, and they can be subtle yet still profound. They may come in surprising ways.

9. What if I don’t feel anything after the first session? Am I unable? And if I do experience a result, will it last?

The three sessions tend to build on each other. Don’t give up…see the process through. It’s often during the third session that the frequencies really takes hold.

The results do tend to last. As mentioned, what you experience will change and evolve over time. Deeper and deeper changes are possible as time continues, without a need to return for further sessions.

10. Is this for real? I’m a bit afraid.

There’s really nothing to fear and yet I understand that change which is unpredictable (and it often is) can be a challenge. This work is real, it’s wonderful, and it can transform lives. God is the deliverer of all healing. Put your trust in God and listen to your own heart. You are well equipped to determine if this is the right choice for you.

11. Can I be a practitioner of Reconnective Healing once I’ve had a healing session and a Reconnection?

No. Successfully completing the Level I/II seminar allows you to facilitate Reconnective Healing sessions and call yourself a RH Practitioner. Successful completion of Level III allows you to facilitate Reconnections (the two day process we all charge $333 for) and to call yourself a practitioner of The Reconnection. Completion of Levels I/II and III means you will be a Practitioner of Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection.

While you may begin to feel the frequencies once you’ve read Dr. Pearl’s book or been in contact with them in some other way (such as receiving a session), it’s not the same as learning how to work with the frequencies during a seminar, where you have ample opportunity to practice and be observed, and to be comfortable with what is happening.

12. Am I considered to be a “Certified” Practitioner of Reconnective Healing and the Reconnection, once I’ve completed Levels I/II and III?

No. Becoming certified requires additional steps including completing a certain number of Reconnections, taking a class, and successfully completing a written and oral exam. Go to www.TheReconnection.com for further details.

Helpful Terms & Definitions

axiatonal lines – an evolved form of acupuncture meridian lines which connect to the planetary energy grid, and the entire Universe; they are not confined to space-time as we know it, but are open-ended, and accumulate energy from extra-dimensional realities; they are vibratory lines

bandwidth – range of frequencies within a radiation band required to transmit a particular signal

channeling – in spiritualism, to serve as a medium for (a spirit); the process by which a person becomes a conduit for a deceased person, as someone from an ancient culture who imparts information about a previous life

Ch’i – the activating energy of the Universe; the bridge between our body and consciousness; it holds the organs, glands, blood vessels, and other bodily parts in place

DNA – deoxyribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid, which is a substance in the nucleus of a cell; DNA is shaped like a double helix (a ladder twisted into a spiral); common thinking says that humans contain two strands of DNA; quantum physicians have theorized that we may, in fact, have originally had as many as 12 or more; the implication is that rather than continuing to evolve forward in a near linear fashion, the human race will benefit by simultaneously reaching back in time and bringing forward certain aspects from when we were a more complete people

frequency – the number of periodic oscillations, vibrations, or waves per unit of time; usually expressed in hertz

magnetic grid – the magnetic system of the Earth, sometimes known as ley lines that link the planet; has been referred to as the DNA delivery engine

meridians – in Chinese acupuncture, there are 12 main meridians or pathways along which positive and negative energy travels in the human body, and which carries on some of the communication between the various parts of human beings; this so-called Ch’i energy enters the body through 500 specific acupuncture points that have unique electro-magnetic characteristics

quantum physics or mechanics – branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta; the physics of the incredibly small; how electrons surround the nucleus of the atom and other subatomic actions

registers – involuntary physical or physiological responses to the frequencies; the more common ones include rapid eye movement, breathing changes, swallowing, tears, laughter, finger movements, head rotation, body movements, and stomach gurgling

strands – science has taught that in every DNA molecule in the human body, there are two strands—the basis of our genetic code or blueprint; see definition of DNA

strings – simultaneously occurring parallel planes of existence; string theory is a way of looking at the building blocks of matter and energy; the most fundamental particles in the universe have been described as loops of “string” that vibrate at specific frequencies

vibration – a periodic to-and-fro motion or oscillation of an object; everything in the universe consists of vibrations occurring at different frequencies

Quantum Physics

Quantum physics, sometimes called quantum mechanics, is the “branch of science that deals with discrete, indivisible units of energy called quanta; the physics of the incredibly small; how electrons surround the nucleus of the atom and other subatomic actions.” Quantum healing is being researched by some of the great scientific minds of our time, in an effort to explain just why and how Reconnective Healing works.

In the foreword to the book The Reconnection, Drs. Gary Schwartz and Linda Russek discuss some of the research that has taken place at the University of Arizona regarding Reconnective Healing and quantum physics. Devoted to the integration of mind-body medicine, energy medicine and spiritual medicine, the motto at the Human Energy Systems Laboratory is: “If it is real, it will be revealed; and if it is a fake, we’ll catch the mistake.” More research from the University of Arizona is currently underway and some of it is specific to what happens during Reconnective Healing. Dr. Gary Schwartz and Dr. William Tiller (Professor Emeritus from Stanford) are both involved in looking at the effect of Reconnective Healing.

J.J. Hurtak’s The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch (especially Chapter 3.1.7), while a challenge to read, offers wonderful affirmation of the role of physics in healing and speaks specifically about Reconnection. Lynne McTaggart’s The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, does this as well and might be an easier read.

Sometimes films can best help us explore what happens during healing, plus they’re fun to watch. ”What the Bleep Do We Know?” and its sequel “Down the Rabbit Hole” have piqued interest in quantum physics and healing and made them commonplace topics of discussion. More recently, “The Secret” presents the views of scientists and philosphers in “whodunit” fashion. And for in-depth audio discussion, “Dr. Quantum Presents a User’s Guide to Your Universe” offers a wealth of information on 6 CDs, from Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, the physicist. More recently, “The Living Matrix” specifically features Reconnective Healing and tells the wonderful story of a young boy’s miraculous result of a brief session with Dr. Pearl.

What is Enlightenment and Ode magazines have regular articles on the subject, as do others. The Kryonbooks from Lee Carroll deal extensively with the realignment of the planet’s magnetic grids and there are numerous other authors who are shedding light on new discoveries in quantum mechanics.

And of course, the internet is a wealth of information, including the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) on The Reconnection’s site.
