Watching someone go from frustration to mastery is a joy to behold. In a Beginning Akashic Record class I recently taught, I saw just such a change in a student who had been less than thrilled with her previous attempts at other forms of self exploration and her search for answers. On the first night of class, I witnessed the “click” happen for her…as if a light bulb actually illuminated over her head! Throughout the class, she became more and more confident of her abilities to understand that the information she was tapping into really was reliable, and that not only could she receive on her own behalf, she became quickly adept at reading for others.
I’m reminded of a beloved childhood story called The Little Engine That Could. This student went from “I think I can, I think I can” to “Look at me! I’m doing it!”
