As I explored going to Germany next summer and possibly extending my stay beyond the 90 days a U.S. passport allows, a woman I was talking to at the Consulate in Houston began to ask about my background. She told me that whereas the law said that a child of a German born father and foreign mother could apply for citizenship, in March 2012 the law was amended to allow a child of a German born mother and foreign father to apply. That sure got me excited! My mother and father met when they were both very young and he was serving in the Army and stationed in Germany. I was born later when they returned to America.
When I told my father about my conversation with the Consulate and asked him to go waaaaaay back in his memory bank to see if he could recall when my mom became an American citizen, he got up, went to his filing cabinet, and pulled out her U.S. naturalization certificate , processed a year and four days after I was born! I could hardly believe the timing…and that my father had all the necessary original documents for me to apply for citizenship. On January 21st, I turned in all the paperwork to the Consulate and am now in a three to nine month wait and see holding pattern. But if things go the way I hope they do, I will soon carry dual citizenship and be moving to Germany. The synchronicity of it all still makes me giggle!
Earth’s Record
In the meantime, I’ve been finishing up my new Earth’s Record website and am excited to finally have it go live. As you may remember, when I first started studying the Akashic Records with Linda Howe, it was with the intent to help the planet. Those who wish to focus on environmental challenges can now readily learn how to access the Earth’s Record to find solutions, large and small, to our many planetary concerns.
I hope you’ll subscribe to the site and stay connected with this work. Please check it out! Subscribers will receive a free introductory audio slideshow that explains what the Akashic Records are and how to use this resource on behalf of the planet. And if you have questions for the Earth’s Records that you’d like to see addressed via the site’s “News” page, be sure to send those my way. There’s already a Q&A session with the Earth’s Record on that page, so that’ll help you understand how this works. When we go into the Earth’s Record, we’re not asking questions directly of the planet but rather, the group known as her Master’s, Teachers and Loved Ones, of which there are, as you might imagine, a great many.
To quote Alice in Wonderland, “Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
